Map what happens after payment

Start with the sequence, not the product name. An evaluation route may contain one or several assessment phases before a funded-stage account. An instant route skips an evaluation but still has trading and reward conditions. “Funded” does not, by itself, mean a live brokerage account. Identify whether each stage is simulated or live, who provides it, and whether approval, identity checks or another agreement sits between passing and receiving the next account.

Compare targets against loss allowance

For each phase, put the profit target beside the initial overall loss allowance and daily rule. In a fictional plan, an 8% target and 4% overall allowance produce a target-to-allowance ratio of 2. That ratio is a descriptive calculation, not a probability of passing. Another route might have 6% then 4% targets with an 8% allowance in each phase. Do not add the targets and pretend they apply to one unchanged account; phase resets matter.

Separate calendar time from qualifying days

“No time limit” does not mean immediate completion. Minimum trading days, profitable-day definitions, inactivity deadlines and review periods can all affect the route. A trade opened on one day and closed on another may not count as two days. Record the server's trading-day boundary and the action that earns a day. Then sketch a realistic schedule using your existing availability, without assuming that a required profitable day will occur whenever you trade.

Read the funded stage before buying the evaluation

Build a second column for the account after evaluation. Repeat the checks for drawdown, news, overnight holding, consistency, payout qualification and ongoing fees. A permission during evaluation may narrow later. Confirm whether the advertised reward share is the starting share or requires scaling or an add-on. If the funded-stage agreement is unavailable, mark those conditions unresolved rather than borrowing them from another product. Passing an assessment and becoming eligible for a reward are separate events.

Compare complete configurations

Keep account size, currency, platform, region and add-ons attached to every saved comparison. Start with requirements you cannot change, such as access eligibility and trading hours, then compare the remaining paths. Use the cost calculator for several durations instead of predicting a passing date. The outcome should be a documented shortlist, including unanswered questions, not a claim that one number makes a route best. Recheck the exact checkout and agreement before committing.
